GOLF - At the present in the Czech Republic there are 112 golf clubs and

KARLOVY VARY
Karlovy Vary lies in West Bohemia, about 120 km west of Prague. It is the largest
and best known spa city in the Czech Republic.
Balneotherapy has been developed and improved since the very establishment to this
date. It mainly promotes the recuperation of patients suffering from digestive tract
disordersmetabolic disorders, diabetes, obesity, parodontosis, locomotor system
disorders, diseases of the liver, pancreas, oncological convalescents and many others.
Treatment exploits centuries-proven thermal baths and drinking cure as well as modern
methods cryotherapy, floating, laser therapy, etc.
MARIÁNSKÉ LÁZNĚ
Mariánské Lázně is the second largest Czech spa, which is very rich in mineral springs.
There are forty springs within the area and one hundred in the immediate vicinity.
The range of diseases treated in Mariánské Lázně, unlike other spas, is very wide
thanks to the diverse chemical composition of the mineral springs. Kidney and urinary
tract diseases, nerve disorders, disorders of the digestive system, metabolic diseases,
skin diseases and diseases of the locomotive system are treated in Mariánské Lázně.
The main spa procedures are drinking cures, carbon dioxide baths, gas baths, gas
injections, peat and mud baths and packs.
FRANTIŠKOVY LÁZNĚ
Frantiskovy Lázně is a place with unique mineral springs with
a high content of carbon dioxide, sulphur-ferrous fen bots and natural seepage of
carbon dioxide. All these natural resources are used in their original state to
treat woment´s diseases, diseases of the locomotive organs and cardio-vascular diseases.
Františkovy Lázně boasts very clean air, parks and wooden spaces full of fresh greenery.
The present day „Františkův pramen“ (František´s Spring), known in the Middle Ages
as the Cheb Waters, Municipal or Fen Bog acidulous waters, has been bringing relief
to the sick of the local area since at least the 15th century.
PODĚBRADY
The Spa Poděbrady spreads out in lowlands alont the river Elbe and is only only
50 km far from Prague.
Nowadays Poděbrady spa specializes, apart from cardiovascular diseases, also in
the treatment of diabetes, obesity and disorders of the motory systems. At present,
as the first spa in the Czech Republic, they routinely perform the so-called „early
rehabilitations after heart operations“ – directly by re-laying from the bed of
cardio-surgical clinics.
Spa procedures and treatment ensured in Poděbrady are massages, electro-treatment,
inhalation, paraffin therapy, gas injecitons, water treatments, etc.
